No Marketing Schemes Needed

Jesus never saw the need to market Himself.

He never advertised.

He never begged or enticed people to come.

He never did anything to stir up the emotions of people so they would be excited and have a good experience with Him.

Jesus just went places....and was just busy "being Jesus" all the time.

"Jesus departed from there, skirted the Sea of Galilee, and went up on the mountain and sat down there. Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus' feet, and He healed them. So the multitude marveled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel." (Matthew 15:29-31)

Why didn't Jesus hustle up attendees?

(He trusted His Father in heaven.)

Sometimes multitudes came.

Sometimes one man came and then, after meeting Jesus, went and found his brother and said, "You need to meet who I just met!"

Jesus trusted His Father.

If we do that...if we simply trust the Father, GOD will build His house and we will be able to watch and participate and KNOW it was Him and not us...manipulating a result using human flesh.

"For those who live according to the FLESH set their minds on the things of the FLESH, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be CARNALLY MINDED is DEATH, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the CARNAL MIND is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the FLESH CANNOT PLEASE GOD." (Romans 8:5-8)

Let's just simply trust God to build HIS house.

He does NOT need our puny human "help".

He just wants us to cooperate with what HE'S doing and enjoy the ride with Him.
